In order to request a quote, it would be helpful for you to have:
• Height of the door or rough opening from the bottom to the top
• Width of the door or rough opening from side to side
• Jamb or door post

When we say “rough opening,” we’re referring to the entire space where the door will be installed.
This space is normally around 2 inches wider and 2.5 inches taller than the actual door. This gives ample room for the door to be framed in order to fit the space.

Sidelights are the long, narrow windows that are directly adjacent to the door itself.

A transom (transom window) is the customary U.S. word for a transom light, the window directly over the door.

TDL stands for True Divided Light. These doors have separate panes of glass separated by mutines or grilles.
SDL (or LT) stands for Single Pane Divided Light. These doors are made with a single pane of glass with the mutines or grilles applied to the exterior + interior of the glass.
Doors built with the DP50 plus Impact Rating must have a single pane of glass.

This is dependent on the climate you live in. People living in Coastal areas, or areas that experience Hurricanes or high winds, normally go with an outward swing.
People living in areas with high snowfall usually choose an inward swing. That way they can still open their door after a large snowfall.

Stock Doors: For around $896-$1,510 extra, our stock doors can come in a beautiful Factory grade, 10 yr warranty grade stain. You can also request our stock doors to come unstained. You might want to stain it yourself OR to leave it with that glorious natural wood color!
Custom Wood: We do not stain our custom wood doors. When you customize a door, we respect your complete control over that statement piece to your home. You may love our natural wood or choose your own stain. The choice is yours!
Iron Doors: Our Iron doors come in several different colors. Please look through our options and choose the one that fits your house and style!
